Network Weaving Institute
The Network Weaving Institute was founded by June Holley to make decades of hard-won practical knowledge about networks and transformation accessible to anyone doing this work, anywhere in the world.
Network weaving is the practice of intentionally nurturing the relationships, trust, and collaborative capacity that allow networks to become engines of real change — not just collections of people, but living systems that learn, adapt, and ripple their impact outward.
June has been developing and practicing network weaving for more than thirty years — in communities, across regions, and at the scale of networks of networks. Her Network Weaver Handbook continues to be used by practitioners worldwide. The Institute is bringing that body of work together in one place: tools, frameworks, case examples, and an invitation to keep harvesting it collectively.
The knowledge needed to transform our communities already exists — and much of it can be found in the experience of people doing the work. Our job is to help surface that knowledge, connect it, and let it flow around the world. We are currently convening project groups to harvest and amplify their thinking and practice around transformation — and to develop a new approach to learning called the Co-Learning Ecology, a modular, relational alternative to traditional training that helps networks learn together, integrate, and transform learning into action.
