Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not track you across other sites.
What we collect
-
If you sign up for our newsletter: your email address, and your name if you give it. We use it to send you the newsletter and nothing else. Every mailing has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We plan to use MailChimp for our newsletter - here is their privacy policy https://mailchimp.com/about/security/
-
If you register for a Question Garden session: registration is handled by Luma, which collects what it needs to send you the session details. Their terms apply to that data. https://luma.com/privacy-policy
-
If you buy or download a resource: the shop is run by Payhip, which handles the transaction and any payment details. We never see or store your payment information. https://payhip.com/privacy
-
If you write to us: we keep the correspondence so we can follow up.
-
Analytics and Tracking Technologies: We do not run our own tracking or analytics systems. This site is built on Wix, a third-party platform that includes built-in analytics (and may support additional tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, which we have not enabled). We have not independently audited what Wix's platform collects, retains, or shares — that visibility isn't available to us as site owners. What follows is based on Wix's own published documentation, not our own verification.
According to Wix, this may include:
-
IP address
-
Browser type and device/operating system
-
Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the site
-
Referring website or traffic source
We encourage anyone with concerns about this to review Wix's own privacy and security documentation directly, rather than relying solely on our summary of it.
Your choices: You can disable cookies through your browser settings, or use a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. If a cookie consent banner is active on this site, you can adjust your preferences and decline non-essential tracking there.
What we do not do.
We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not run advertising trackers.
Who else sees it.
The services that run parts of this site — our website host, our mailing tool, Luma, Payhip — each hold the data needed to do their job. We do not pass your details to anyone else.
Your choices.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will. Write to june@networkweaving.institute. If you are in the EU or UK, these are rights you have under the GDPR; we will honor the same request from anyone, anywhere.
Children.
This site is intended for adults working in and around networks. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes. If this page changes we will update the date below.
