What's the network question you've never quite found a good answer to?
Starting this month, we’re opening up live Q&A sessions — we are calling them the NWI Question Garden. You bring questions about networks, network weaving, and transformation, and first June and special guests will provide an answer from their experience. Then we'll open the floor and let others contribute their experience to the mix.
When you register for the session, you'll be able to describe a question or challenge you have. We will aggregate these questions and try to answer them all, either during the session or in follow-up emails.
Each session opens with brief breakout introductions. Then we lay out the first question. We share our thoughts and then move into the group's suggestions. We'll go through as many questions as we can during the hour we have together. We'll close with breakout rooms where you'll get a chance to consider how you might apply something you learned in the session to your network or project.
Recordings will be available on the NWI YouTube channel afterward, which is why we ask for your permission to record when you register.
Here's the part we're most excited about, though: we are not just responding to questions, we are collecting and sharing the experience people offer. Everyone's questions and the responses get synthesized into the Question Garden Responses page here on the NWI site, so network weavers can come any time to get suggestions.
In addition, we'll be using your questions to actively shape how we design the Co-Learning Ecology (CLE) experience. The questions and challenges you bring become real raw material for what and how people learn in the CLE.
To recap: By signing up for the NWI Question Garden, you agree to be recorded in the session (camera-on is encouraged but optional). These recordings will be available on the NWI YouTube channel so others can learn from them. In addition, we will synthesize the information for the evolving Question Garden area on the NWI site. From this soil will grow wider understanding of the questions people have about networks, which will also contribute to shaping the Co-Learning Ecology
